Allison is a solicitor and the Head of DAS Law’s Employment Law and Business & Commercial Departments.
She has more than 12 years of employment law experience advising commercial clients and private individuals.
Experience: Allison qualified as a solicitor in 2004 with Pollecoff Solicitors, a niche London firm. She also worked at Lyons Davidson before joining DAS Law in 2013.
Allison has considerable litigation experience having represented clients in employment tribunal proceedings dealing with issues ranging from unfair dismissal and redundancy to lengthy and complex discrimination cases.
Speciality: Allison specialises in advising commercial organisations so that they understand their legal obligations and do not fall foul of the law. In cases where an organisation is facing a claim, Allison’s expertise lies in resolving disputes by early intervention and balancing the business and reputational risk of defending a claim in an Employment Tribunal.
Examples of her recent work include:
- Advising a SME on an unfair dismissal claim following a restructure of its business
- Advising a Nationwide Care Home on a complex multi discrimination and wages claim
- Advising a Further Education College on a termination of a Senior Executive.
Allison is committed to obtaining the best outcome for her clients, and she always ensures that her advice is clear, practical, and above all meets her client’s objectives.
