    Here are some important things you should be aware of regarding your dispute over time off work:

    • Our lawyers are highly experienced in handling many types of disputes relating to time off work including holiday pay, maternity and paternity leave, sick leave and parental leave.
    • Most workers have the right to a certain amount of paid holiday each year. Exactly how much time you can take off generally depends on how many hours you work as well as what is stated in your employment contract.
    • If you fall ill, you have the right to take time off work and you may also be entitled to receive Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
    • If you are a parent, you may have the right to take unpaid leave to care for your children.
